The Chestermere Whitecappers Life Begins at 50 Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank a number of people who made our Expo on September 24 a huge success. It was a great honour to have the Chestermere Whitecappers Association’s first President, Jack Shaw and his wife, Goldie attend the Expo. There were also a number of past presidents and board members in attendance who continue to work very hard within the Whitecappers Association.

Special thanks go out to the countless volunteers who over the past year took an idea and helped nurture it to fruition. The five members of the Chestermere youth group, YELL, Hannah Cook, Brennan Dressler, Jason McElrea, Imani Abdulla and Diana Tran Huyah; our guest speakers Bruce McAllister, Salim Sindhu, Diane Schniedmiller and Judy Streiet; our numerous donators including Mountain View Memorial Gardens, The Anchor, British Isles Fish and Chips Restaurant and Tim Horton’s; as well as all of the vendors and presenters that donated door prizes were instrumental in the Expo’s success. And first and foremost in making the Expo the wonderful day that it was were all of our participants, presenters and vendors.

Thank you sincerely from Maxine McKellar Life Begins at 50 Expo Chairperson and Carollyne Hinde Chestermere Whitecappers Association President.
