Do you love painting, or maybe you like to draw, it doesn’t matter what medium you prefer or how long you have been dabbling in your craft as an artist, there is likely a category in the Red Ribbon Competition to show-off your talents! Pick up your copy of the Red Ribbon Booklet at the CRCA office or download it at www.chestermerecrca.com/special-events/country-fair to discover all the different categories you could enter. The only limitation is that you are only able to enter one piece of artwork per category. But if you are really talented that means you could enter up to 16 different categories in this section such as a Charcoal or Pastel Drawing, a Caricature, a Painting in any medium, a Tole Painting, a Pencil Sketch or even enter a Collage with any materials! So whether you are still in High School or maybe you have just retired and taken up a new hobby, we hope you will take the time to enter some of your artwork in this year’s Red Ribbon Competition at the Chestermere Country Fair. Just remember that the entries must be in between 11am and 6pm on Friday September 7th in the Chestermere Curling Rink. Judging takes place that evening and you can hurry back on September 8th at 10am to see your ribbons
