The Second Gear Club’s ice race is tentatively rescheduled for Jan. 29 in Chestermere. If the warm weather continues, it will be held instead in Gull Lake.

The Library will be hosting a K’nex Competition for kids aged eight to 12. It will take place on Thursday, Jan. 26 around 3:45 p.m. All K’nex pieces will be provided by the Library.
The Library will also be hosting an “Eat to Live” seminar on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. Foods and chemicals to avoid will be discussed, as well as reports about carcinogens, GMO’s and trans fats. Register in person or by calling the Library at 403-272-9025. Drop-ins are also welcome.
Chestermere Town Hall’s new operating hours are now in effect, as it will now be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This will be for a six-month trial period, at which time Council will review and make a decision based on resident use whether to stay with new hours or return to the previous operation schedule.
