The next JellyBean dance at the Chestermere Recreation Centre will be on February 10 at 7 p.m., and will be Valentines Day themed. JellyBean dances are open to kids from Grade 4 to 8, and cost $5.

The Library will also be hosting an “Eat to Live” seminar on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. Foods and chemicals to avoid will be discussed, as well as reports about carcinogens, GMO’s and trans fats. Register in person or by calling the Library at 403-272-9025. Drop-ins are also welcome.

The Ducks Unlimited banquet in Chestermere is on Feb. 11 at the Recreation Centre. There will be a dinner, as well as a silent auction and live auction . The live auction features a live auctioneer, and numerous vacation packages and other exciting items will go up for bid. Cocktails and raffle sales will begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m., and the auction to follow. The event is for adults only, and tickets are $50 each, or $425 for a reserved table of eight.
