- The Atom AA Minor Hockey tournament is taking place at the Chestermere Rec Centre from March 23 to 25. There will be games running all day in both the red and blue arenas beginning at 9 a.m. The Chestermere team plays on Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the blue arena, and at 6:45 p.m. in the red arena. They will also play on Saturday at 11:45 in the blue arena, and again on Sunday if they make it the finals! Go cheer on the local AA team.

- Registration for the Chestermere United FC’s 2012 outdoor soccer program is now open. Soccer players of all abilities are welcome. The outdoor season will run from April until August. For more info or to register, go to chestermereunited.com.
- The next Mocha Monday with Mayor Matthews is on April 2 at 9:30 a.m at Tim Hortons. Anyone is welcome to attend and have a coffee with the Mayor
