CHESTERMERE – Well this doesn’t happen hardly ever, a free car show and a live band for entertainment to boot. Yes believe it or not Mike St. Cyr and Elaine Smart, the founders of the well-known Chestermere Show ‘n’ Shine, have collaborated with Chestermere resident and Car Nutz member, Rick Moskwa, to organize an end of the season car event. Say goodbye to the 2012 Car Show Season.
And it’s FREE to all participants and the public.
Yep, No entry fee, No prizes, No trophies, No raffles, No dash plaques, No shoes, No shirt, (whoops where am I going with that…..) Nope nothing but a STRAIGHT SHOOTER car show. It’s all about the custom hot rods; they just want to keep it simple – the guys (and gals), just want to see the sculpted iron machines. St Cyr says, “Let’s see it one last time before it’s bedded down for the winter.” “So far there has been tremendous interest, from car lovers everywhere”.
The event will take place at Rick’s huge acreage just East of Chestermere on Sunday September 30th starting at 10 AM and going until 4 PM.
There will be a live band (The Battle Zone) and a food concession.
Mike and Elaine always want to give back to the community, so they are asking everyone to bring any non-perishable items for the Chestermere Food Bank.
If you want to
