CHESTERMERE – Q: Who can gobble up 1350 burgers and 828 hot dogs? A big hungry crowd, that’s who. It looked at times when I thought the whole town was going to show up and have a burger or hot dog at the Chestermere Stations 2nd Annual Stampede Barbeque on Thursday July 12. The free event was put on by Melcor Developments and CBRE Limited. The weather was absolutely perfect, the burgers were hot and the dogs, well, they were hot too. The crowd was entertained with music by the Denver Daines Band and for the kids, and some of the adults, Dottie the Clown and Friends had their hands full making balloon hats and face painting. A stompin’ good time had by all.
