Chestermere Junior Crushers

The local baseball squad went undefeated in the round robin and faced Cochrane Jays at home in the final on Sunday, June 23.
Both baseball clubs dominated the league and each finished the regular season with only one loss.
In the end the Crushers overpowered Cochrane with strong hitting and solid pitching to blank the Jays 12-0 to win the Alberta Little League District 3 Title.
Ryland Mills pitched a near complete game with no runs allowed and recording six strike outs.
Chestermere hitters were led by Sam Reid batting 3 for 3.
Congratulations to the Chestermere Junior’s roster of Mark Patzer, Sam Reid, Ryland Mills, David Bradley, Linden Spence, Cooper Grisak, Dylan Maissoneuve, Spencer Schneider, Jon Torgrimson, Carly Mcilwrick, and Dylan Corzini. Coaches are Kevin Torgrimson, Pat Mills, and Tim Reid.
The coaches would like to thank everyone who helped out in making this a successful and enjoyable season.
