Dear Friends in Chestermere and area,
The Chestermere Regional Community Development Fund ( CRCDF) will be a registered Canadian charity acting as an umbrella organization to assist in fundraising in the Chestermere area. The organizers have come to nearly the end of the process for becoming a charity under CRA, but one snag, their name is so close to the Chestermere Regional Recreation Association that CRCDF needs a waiver letter from the CRCA Board to use the CRDCF name. There are just days left to get that letter in. ***Do any of you know the CRCA Board members and could you speak to them and advocate for CRCDF which will support many great projects and organizations in and around Chestermere? The CRCA Board Members names (taken from website which I trust is up to date) are:
Jerry Simpson President, Paul McDonald, David Fafard, Harpal Mangat, Malkeet Aheer, Kelsey Johnson, Bob Johnson, Marian Gmitter, Chad Shiel, and from Rockyview County, Earl Solberg.
