Mind, Body, and Spirit Expo

Information For Your Mind And Body

CHESTERMERE – The 5th Annual Mind, Body & Spirit Expo will take place at the Chestermere Recreation Centre on Saturday, March 23rd, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. What is that you may ask? The Mind, Body and Spirit Expo will provide you an opportunity to get information about the many options available for personal growth, self-awareness and optimal health. They will also have an Interactive Room for Mental Well Being which, for some will be a highlight of the event. At the last event the Interactive Room set up 12 tables and they hope to double that in this year’s event.
There are a huge number of individuals, businesses, services and organizations that would like to get their information out to the public and this Expo is a great way to do that; and the organizers still have a few vacancies remaining for you. They are also looking for Mental Health Professionals to participate.
For the Exhibitors – Here is your opportunity to share your product, service or knowledge and present it to the public and change people’s quality of life, physically, emotionally or spiritually. Are you or your product or service environmentally friendly, holistic, natural or organic? Do you live in Rockyview or Wheatland County and/or want to share your information with Chestermere, Strathmore, Langdon, Indus and the surrounding communities? Register now and reserve your table at this informative event.
At the Expo this year the Chestermere Community Recreation Association is looking forward to kicking off the new Community Walking Program for Chestermere called Chestermere Walks. The Expo is anticipating lots of visitors that day and it will be the perfect day to get information and get involved. They will also be adding a Healthy Eating Component and hope to have some workshops for people to participate in.
If you are interested in being an exhibitor for the Chestermere Walks, you are asked to provide some “swag” (promotional items) or discount coupons etc. for Goody Bags to be given to the first 200 visitors. To minimize the cost to the exhibitors, anywhere from 50 to 200 items would be greatly appreciated and the committee will divide all items amongst the bags. If an exhibitor would like to donate an item for a raffle, that too would be gratefully accepted. Lunch is included in the registration fee. Not for Profits will not be charged for a table but are required to fill out and submit a registration form.
You can get you r registration forms by contacting Vicki Klinger, the CRCA Recreation Program Coordinator at recreation@chestermerecrca.com or drop right in at the Rec. Centre and pick one up.
See you at the Expo, March 23rd.
