St. Gabriel students in grades six to twelve held “Mo-Vember Moustache Day”

In the hallways and classrooms throughout the month of November, teachers and students of St. Gabriel participated in “Mo-Vember”. Nine male teachers participated in the month long task of growing a moustache in support of awareness to Prostate Cancer. The awareness was heightened on Thursday, November 28th, when the school hosted its annual “Mo-Vember Moustache Day” for all students in grades six to twelve. Students were encouraged to make a donation of a loonie to wear a painted on or uniquely designed moustache. Jeff Horbay, a high school teacher at the school, made it his mission to participate in this event by creating a donation page on the official Movember website. With his awesome donations and the generosity of the staff and students at SGA, Prostate Cancer will receive close to $620.00 on behalf of St. Gabriel the Archangel School. Way to go SGA!!!!
