You CAN be the judge!

Country Fair judge

Country Fair judge

As promised, there will be a local workshop to train fair judges and help exhibitors know how to make that entry a winner! Thanks to the Bearspaw and District Community Fair Association and coordinator Linda Sanden and a ton of volunteer presenters, this event will be held at the Airdrie Ag Centre 97 East Lake Ramp NE, Airdrie, on Saurday June 1st from 9am to 4pm. Registration is only $20 including lunch (a win in many categories at the Chestermere Red Ribbon would pay for that!) and deadline is May 15th–just two weeks away! You can register for two sessions in the morning, and two in the afternoon, with a selection from Horticultures, Foods, Quilting, Fine Art and Thread Arts/Hobbies & Crafts.

Chestermere is providing some instructors and also the Red Ribbon Committee will be there honing their skills! Please join them and help make the Chestermere Country Fair Red Ribbon the best Fair in Southern Alberta. With over 1000 entries each year, over $3000 in cash prizes and a requirement of ten judges needed to review and judge entries, it won’t be long now! Be part of the action, learn to be a judge or just come and find out how YOU can win one of the nine trophies awarded each year for highest points in the Red Ribbon competition. For a registration form please contact Carol at 403 272 7170 x 223 or Jen jpeddles@telus.net .
