During the Spring Festival, The Anchor had a booth set up during the interactive tradeshow. People who entered their name in to the draw had the chance to win a basket full of fun activities, or had the chance to fill out a small survey with questions regarding the Anchor itself, which was entered in a different draw, for a Samsung Galaxy tablet.
The basket included a Frisbee, sidewalk chalk, bubbles and bubble machines, and much more. Lucky winner Tam Doan was the winner of this prize, who entered the draw for her two children, Joshua and Kyle. The two boys were ecstatic with the arrival of their new bin of fun, and could hardly contain their excitement to begin playing with it all. “Thank you so much!” Joshua and Kyle beamed together.
A woman by the name of Ann was the winner of the Samsung Galaxy tablet after she filled out a survey, which entered her name into the other draw. “Now I can finally play Candy Crush!” Ann exclaimed happily. Her grandchildren appeared to be equally as excited for their grandmother’s prize.
The Anchor is pleased to present these prizes to both of the winners. Community involvement is key to building better relationships between local businesses and Chestermere’s residents and by participating in draws such as this one, and we are appreciative of the community’s involvement.
