During the last two weeks of October, the Chestermere Therapy Dog Society threw out the challenge to dog owners everywhere to submit photos of their dog getting into the Halloween spirit by dressing up.
The first place winner was Lori Willick’s dog Chance, a 4 year old golden retriever who dressed as a Scarecrow.
The second place prize went to Jessika Reimond behalf of her dog Braxton and third place went to Stacey Halvorsen-King and dog Cassie.
A huge thank you to Leslie Bergen for donating the 1st place prize which is a hand painted portrait, of $100 value and Grant Hallgrimson, owner of Pet Planet in Chestermere Station, who donated gift certificates. The CTDS also sends out a big thank you to all of those that sent in pictures of their dogs.
