In the July edition of the Chestermere Anchor you might have noticed, or even have read, the article about the fire truck restoration project being done by Zeebs Performance Restoration. It was commissioned by the Chestermere Historical Society who had received a grant to restore this vehicle.
And, as many of you know, the 25th Anniversary Chestermere Fall Fair and parade are swiftly approaching on the 12th & 13th of September, and everyone is hoping to have the restored fire truck be part of the candy throwing procession. Zane of Zeebs and his coworkers have done a great job so far but there is still a lot of work to do so, to achieve this goal there was an invitation made on Facebook, on the I Love Chestermere page, by Jennifer Peddlesden a member of the Chestermere Historical Society, for volunteers to help out and ready this spectacular vehicle for this fun event.
Accompanying this article are some photos of the progress of the fire truck and some more of the volunteers helping the owner of Zeebs Performance Restoration work on the truck.
