September 6th was an exciting day for the community around Speargrass Golf Course. Carseland Jet Setters together with Speargrass Community Association held a Helicopter Ball Drop with nearly 750 golf balls been dropped from a helicopter hovering over the golf hole. While none fell into the hole Garth Hartigh from Sylvan lake didn’t mind his ball was closest to the hole and he was happy with the big win of $2000.00
Residents in the community enjoyed helicopter rides. A fall barbeque and mini golf with holes set up by the residents. Fun was had by all.
