mystery-2012-Chestermere-Sign-Meier-Farm

Sometimes there are artifacts or photographs donated to the Chestermere Historical Foundation and we just don’t know the whole story. One such item is a large, colourful sign that may have been used by one of the early developers in our town possibly 1995 to 1999. It is approximately 12 feet long and 4 feet high. The sign was given to CHF by Danny and Julie Meier who have a great sense of history and preservation ( they were instrumental is arranging for CHF to obtain the 1952 Ford Chestermere Cabin Owner’s Firetruck which is now under restoration). See picture. Does anyone remember where this sign might have been placed in the town? Or by whom? If you can shed light on this history mystery, please contact the Chestermere Historical Foundation via the webpage at www.chestermerehistory.org or you can also call 403 272 3764.
