Strathmore, Alberta – On September 14, 2015, Christopher Kelly was charged with one count of common assault, Section 266 of the Criminal Code, for an on-duty incident which occurred while he was an RCMP officer stationed at the Strathmore RCMP Detachment on October 25, 2014.
Christopher Kelly was served a summons today, to appear in Strathmore Provincial Court on October 20, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. to answer to the charge.
He was at the rank of constable at the time of his resignation on March 3, 2015.
