In the spirit of love and Valentine’s Day, Chestermere Anchor City News partnered with Expedia Cruise Ship Centres and ran a contest through the month of February. By simply visiting one of the participating local merchants and entering your name into the draw, a Princess Cruise for 2 could have been yours.
On Saturday February 28th, the winner was selected from over the 2000 entries. Edward and Caro Mensah were the luck winners!!
New to Chestermere, as they had just moved here in August from Toronto, say they have really enjoyed coming to Chestermere and getting to know the area. The couple have two children, Daniel and Yvette that were quite excited at their parents win.
Vicky Barzey, owner of the local Expedia Cruise Ship Centres, said that they selected Princess cruise lines as it is the popular cruise lines 50th anniversary this year and they seem to be the perfect fit for the contests’ Valentines theme.
There were 13 draw boxes at various locations throughout Chestermere and Langdon, and Mr. Mensah said that he had dropped his name into the draw box that was at the Douglas Homes show home on West Chestermere Drive.
