Has it been awhile (even 20 years?) since you coloured a picture or danced?
Rediscover your inner artist at the annual Chestermere Arts Days September 25 and 26 at the Municipal Office. Whether you are interested in drawing, painting, music or maybe just browsing local art, there is something for everyone!
“This will be our 5th year celebrating Alberta Culture Days, and each year we have new artists coming out to share their skills and showcase their creative talents,” said Nancie Huneault, Events Coordinator for the City of Chestermere. “It is a fantastic opportunity for Chestermere to have hands on experiences and explore what our art community is so passionate about.”
Never been to an art gallery? Try it out right here in Chestermere at Arts Days’ opening night, Friday, September 25. Enjoy a glass of wine or beer, appreciate live music throughout the building, and spend the evening browsing masterpieces created by local artists at our Blank Canvas show and sale Event. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Chestermere Public Library for $5.
Inspired by the pros on Friday night? Saturday provides an opportunity for all ages to try their hand at a variety of free art workshops.
