They have taken the lazy approach to governing

In his April 9 column in the City News, Bruce McAllister, former Wildrose MLA and now one of “Prentice’s Parrots”, or is it “team” claims that his puppet masters in Edmonton have taken a so-called “balanced” approach to governing.  These same bosses say that anyone who disagrees with their plan is “extreme”.

I would say that they have taken the “lazy” and “entitled” approach to governing. When you find yourself broke after years of windfall oil revenues what could be be easier than raising taxes by an average $2500 per family rather than cutting wasteful spending. Remember that the PCs own ads that they have been saturating the airwaves with say they have been wasting your money.

This is the same bunch of clowns that can’t build a vitally necessary cancer treatment centre in Calgary but somehow found 400 million dollars to spend on an 11 story reno in Edmonton for fancy offices for them and their cronys, and couldn’t even give the poor taxpayers a skating rink outside so they could admire the wonderful palace (but probably not go inside to watch the 80″ big screen TVs that Prentice finds so necessary for his office. What the hell, only 13 grand.)
I ask you, what’s so “extreme” about getting value for money, and seeing where your tax dollars go? Sounds like common sense to me but perhaps a little “extreme” for the Prentice Plutocrats.

Chestermere
