We all know that the young people in our community are pretty awesome. They step up in times of need. Go above and beyond to help their friends and neighbors. But, they are also a pretty talented bunch.
On Thursday May 26th, East Lake School held their Fine Arts Expo and showed, once again, just how talented they are.
This event had everything from musical performances, art displays, a Guitar Club performance and even a live production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’.
Lori Maier, Vice Chair of the East Lake School Council said, “Special thanks to all the teachers and staff for all the extra work they did to make the event successful. Thanks also to all the moms who help out with baking and volunteering their time. Thank you to Waiting Room Cafe for donating coffee. A big thanks to all the companies and personal businesses that donated items for the silent auction. And of course a thank you to all the creative students who worked so hard with music, drama, face painting and art”.
Great job East Lake School!!
