It was another FANtastic, but windy day for our Chestermere Chiefs Atom team. Our O-line anchored by Caden Cole, Kartik Naidu, and Logan Madan were good at providing time for our QB’s, including first time QB Adam Abdullah that allowed our running backs to take it to the end zone three times. It was a difficult day for the passing game but players like Corbin McKinley helped with solid blocking downfield and made sure they were still contributing to our team success. Our opposition, the Mavericks, played a strong and determined game but a shutout by the swarming Chief defence led by Kyle S., Nico Bec, and Brodie Solvason guaranteed we would not be denied another victory. The game was a perfect example of the team sport that football is as everyone played their positions and the team was successful. The Atom Chiefs have one game remaining on October 29th to conclude what has been a very positive fun filled season of learning, sportsmanship, and comradery. Go Chiefs.
Atom team continues to shine
