Another fantastic day to play football for the Chestermere Chiefs Atom Team on Sunday, September 17. They faced off against a very good Calgary team, The Colts. It was a see saw battle of talented defenses. Chestermere lead on tackles by Jacob Roy, Alyssa Graham and J.J. Garner.
A Watt-like performance by Kyle S was a sight to see. Andrew Buick offence runs is bound to get him in the end zone any game now; and the always-elusive Callum Johnson got the Chiefs deep into Colts territory. First time quarter back Colin Johnson looked like a seasoned vet and handled the offence with ease. Another great effort on both sides of the ball! This group is really coming together as a team.
With each practice and game they are showing marked improvement proving the statement “Together Everyone Achieves More” true. The kids are having fun and putting in 100% effort, which will always payoff in the long run. Parents and coaches could not be more proud of all their hard work.
