JUNIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
The JV Girls Volleyball team finished second in the Rocky View league this year and had high hopes for a trip to the finals. The Lakers, unfortunately, lost 3-1 to Cochrane in their semi-final match. This put the team in the 3rd place match, played at home. The girls came up big and posted a 3-0 match victory. The team will now prepare to compete in this weekend’s South Central Zone Championship in High River.

SENIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
The Senior Girls travelled to Cochrane, last Wednesday to take on the 1st place and undefeated, Cochrane Cobras in semi-final action. The team gave a great effort but came up short 3-0. This placed the Lakers in the 3rd place game, in Airdrie, against the Bert Church Chargers. The girls had a solid outing and earned a 3-1 victory. Best of luck to the team as they prepare for the 4A South Central Zone Championship, this weekend, hosted by Chestermere.

SENIOR BOYS VOLLEYBALL
The Senior Boys Volleyball team travelled to W.H. Croxford, in Airdrie, last Monday in quarter-final playoff action. Unfortunately the boys fell to the Cavaliers 3-0 to end their league season. They will now prepare for the 4A Zones Championship hosted by Chestermere this weekend. Go Lakers!
