BADMINTON
Congratulations to the following athletes on their performance at the Rocky View Badminton Divisional Championships ,this past weekend:

Shae Doughty- Gold Senior Girls Singles, Emily Baker- Silver Senior Girls Singles, Hashem, Hammoud- Silver Senior Boys Singles, Mason Corbiell- Fourth Senior Boys Singles, Chazz Meszaros- Silver Intermediate Boys Singles, Edmund Tang & Noah Skrynyk- Bronze Intermediate Boys Doubles, Ehsaan Butt & Ali Wahedi- Fourth Intermediate Boys Doubles, Zahwa Majzoub & Jon Fitzgerald- Fourth Intermediate Mixed Doubles, Kimmy Tran & Angelica Vuong- Gold Junior Girls Doubles, Lavivian Le- Fourth Junior Girls Singles

The team competed well and lost a few tough battles but overall it was a success. All Gold and Silver medallists will compete in the Zone Championship on Saturday in Strathmore. Best of luck.

CONGRATULATIONS ROY OUTH
Congratulations to senior football player, Roy Outh, who was selected to play in the Football Alberta Senior Bowl all-star game, scheduled for May 20th. This is a great achievement as hundreds of Grade 12’s try out for this team. Roy becomes the 14th Chestermere player to play in the Senior Bowl. The last CHS player to participate in the Senior Bowl was current coach, Mitch Bec, in 2008. Congratulations Roy.

CHESTERMERE FOOTBALL
The Lakers football team has begun their off-season training program at Chestermere High. Any current students of CHS or any grade 9 students interested in playing football next season may contact Coach Ledieu at sledieu@rockyview.ab.ca for more information on the training program and on spring camp scheduled for May. 

CHESTERMERE HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC PARK UPGRADE INFORMATION SESSION
We held an Information Session at CHS on Wednesday, March 20th, on this project. Those that attended received a great deal of information about the project. Please contact me if you would like the information brochure on the project or would like to make a contribution.
